We were given a diagram of this scene and had to compose it as closely as we could, lighting it however we felt was appropriate. I used two red-gelled photofloods on a white background, a quartz light in a small softbox on a boom overhead providing the main light for the scene (and also the bullseye whiteness on the background), plus a snooted dinky on the soup to bring out details in the shoe. You can't see it, but there's a small gobo attempting to keep the on-camera flash (used to trigger the SB-600) from lighting the scene. It didn't quite work, so I just used my hand and triggered the camera with a remote.
